British Breweriana or Brewery Collectibles For Sale:

Pre-WWII era, 4½" half-pint mug from an old British railway station bar. On the front, it has a fancy "L.N.E.R." etched  monogram (at right) that stands for London and North Eastern Railway (est. 1923), and home to the "Flying Scotsman."
It has the "GR" etched below the Weights & Measure's crown - dating it from 1937. The National Railway Museum in York concurred that the mug was from the 30's. Also a Railwayana auction house appraised it at £30 to £40. Very good to Excellent cond. Rare.  $35
During the Second World War the railways were taken into state control, and the LNER ended after it became nationalized as part of British Railways on 1 Jan. 1948.  

"Boddingtons" on a 7" imperial pint size glass. Nicknamed the "Cream of Manchester" it comes from Manchester in North west England. Excellent cond. $7

"Bass (since) 1777" with "England's first reg'd. trademark in fine print below the red triangle logo - on a 6", 14 oz. glass - Excellent cond.. $7

"Ringness - Pilsner" below family crest, on a 8¼",.5L, tulip shaped beer glass - product of Oslo, Norway. Excellent cond. $8

"Hasseröder - Premium Pils" all in gold, on a 6⅝" tulip shaped glass made by Rastal  - from the town of Wernigerode in the Sachsen-Anhalt region of the old East Germany. Excellent cond. $8

"Chimay" in white lettering with a thin red outline, on a 5⅞" tall traditional Belgium Ale goblet - Excellent cond.  $6

"Lindemans" beneath "Kriek" with art-neuvo decorations - all in gold - on a 8" tall, footed glass. $8

"Brauerei Wagner - Betzensteein" with lion logo, from the Wagner Brewery (est. 1800) in Betzenstein, Bayern, Germany. The Brewery closed in 1980 but mug looks much older than that. Embossed on the side of this 4½" mug is its capacity of ".25L". Very good cond. $15

"Tuborg Beer - Copenhagen, Denmark" on a square logo with gold rim - all on a 7¾", elegantly flared pilsner. Older glass - Very Good cond. $10

"Paulaner" beer mug from Munich, Germany - on a .5L, 5" stoneware mug. Gold leaf in crest and script, but photo doesn't show it. Grade 9.5  $20

"Dortmunder Union - Bier" with a beautiful company crest in gold, emblazoned on a .5L, 5" stoneware mug by Ambert. From Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Grade 9.5  $25

"Prinstner Bier - Beilngries" with red stag logo on a .5 liter, 9" tall, stoneware pilsner from Bavaria - made by the famous Wick-Werke factory. The brewery is Brauhaus Hirschberg which translates to Deer Mountain brewing house. It was privately owned by the Prinstner family, and was located in Beilngries, Bayern, Germany. It was est. 1678, and closed in 1982.
Very scarce, and in near mint condition.  $25
